The Challenge:

Peptan is a global leader in collagen peptides. As part of a remarketing strategy, BDB was chosen to help
define Peptan’s proposition and produce new creative imagery, from concept through to development.
The aim was to showcase its world-class ingredient portfolio to a global audience, establishing a clear
point of difference in the highly competitive marketplace. It was important that the concept resonated
across a number of different sectors – healthy ageing, bone and joint health, sports nutrition and
skin beauty.

Our Insight:

After working with Peptan for over five years, BDB was already well-versed in collagen peptide ingredients
and potential audiences. This in-depth market knowledge enabled BDB to identify the right proposition
messaging, emphasising Peptan’s scientific capabilities while standing out from the competition. BDB
conducted research into different creative images, to find a concept that would suit the brand’s
strong identity.

Our Response:

BDB developed six new advert concepts with the strapline ‘One Peptan, a world of benefits’, highlighting
the breadth of health benefits that Peptan can bring from just one ingredient. The strong, aspirational
lifestyle images support the key product messages (bone and joint health, healthy ageing, beauty and
sports nutrition) which encapsulates the brand. The successful roll-out of the advert concepts has also
lent itself well to be used across other marketing collateral, such as the Peptan brochures and the Peptan
website to ensure a consistent cross-channel message.
